Shadrie has lived in Columbus, Ohio for most of her life. She is a first-generation immigrant. Her experience of living in Kenya shaped her passion and desire to help others and eventually led her to become a nurse practitioner. She is passionate about helping those in underserved communities.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science with a minor in Psychology at The Ohio State University and later a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Xavier University in Cincinnati. Her experience in a Progressive Care Unit at Mount Carmel St Ann's Hospital developed her clinical acumen and inspired her to pursue her Master's in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Northern Kentucky University. She is currently certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
She lives with her husband in Dublin, OH. Shadrie enjoys volunteering at the local food pantry, baking, reading, and spending time with her family.
